Bruins Supporting Bruins

Our dedicated team of student staff is at the heart of the Bruin Resource Center’s mission. These students provide essential peer support, guide fellow Bruins to valuable resources, and foster an inclusive atmosphere of connection and belonging. Many student staff members are also part of UCLA’s resilient communities, bringing their own lived experiences and insights to help empower others on their paths to success.

Land acknowledgement
Honoring Our Land and Its People

Photo of BRC staff

The Bruin Resource Center at UCLA acknowledges the Gabrielino/Tongva peoples as the traditional land caretakers of Tovaangar—the Los Angeles basin and Southern Channel Islands. As a land-grant institution, we pay our deepest respects to the Honuukvetam (Ancestors), ’Ahiihirom (Elders), and ’Eyoohiinkem (our relatives and relations), past, present, and emerging. We are committed to fostering a campus community that honors this heritage and respects the enduring presence of Indigenous peoples.
